only watched about half of the performances. I disagree with the judges on the pink haired girl. I thought she sounded really good. She's easily the most talented of the group. Caleb is still my favorite.at least he's a "performer". at his point these kids should have gotten over that "deer in the headlights" thing but most haven't.
singing a jlo song was an obvious suck up move. I'm cuban so, i'm gonna sing a jlo song...
i though sam was ok but i think he gets distracted by the audience.
i can see how some of these kids get confused. the judges will say" take a song and make it your own". Then when you change it, they're like " i didn't even recognize the song".
Kieth hit it on the head with cj...he's just doing "covers".

I think there's some talent in this group, but they need mentors. They aren't there yet. They're somewhat premature to be on the live stage. I've never seen a group so scared and uncomfortable. They're so unprepared. Sam is comfy cozy with his own songs and he's shy when it comes to the audience. He's improved on eye contact though.
I'm afraid CJ is just a cover singer and doesn't have potential to be any more than that.

Has Randy even really mentored? I haven't seen much indicating he does anything close to that.

Alls I know is, as much as I like him, HCJ isn't making many fans on the show. They're always booing him.
It's nice to see someone give actual constructive criticism though and not be afraid to hurt someone's feelings. We haven't seen that since Simon left.

That's just the audience booing him. They probably tell them to do that for all we know. If you read the comments about the show otherwise, people love HCJ. He knows what he's talking about whether I agree with him or not.
Keith is coming out more, as well, now that he doesn't have to deal with the divas. I like him.
JLo tells everyone they look good. At least, she criticized somewhat this year.
At the end, she looked like she was pleading with them to be better. They're making the judges look badly for choosing them.

MK barely made it. I sure hope she gets with the program next week. I can't remember what song she sang before the live shows that I liked so much, but whatever it was, she hasn't come close to doing that again.
Out of the three on the hot seat, MK is the only one I wanted to see next week, mainly because she's different from the usual screaming girl singers. Majesty is good, but she's a screamer too.
Sure hope the guys get over their fear next week. I'm surprised CJ wasn't in the bottom, but he was the only guy who I thought could possibly be there.

not surprised MK was in bottom 3. America is not ready for her. Most of the AI voters like to pick boys with guitars. That's why the two prettiest girls went home first. CJ is doing exact covers and shoulda been in the bottom 3.
