My God, this is so freakin long. (That is NOT what she said). But they are really milking this finale. I didn't care to hear the people who were "voted" off.

They’ll probably have a related label sign them or try to.
At this point, it’s probably better in the long run to get #2 because both of these guys are so niche in their styles AI is going to struggle making them go pop (unless they truly go with their styles)

Laine clearly wanted to win more. (Emotionally)
I am so happy with the results.
I still think Alejandro will have the bigger career. Both look extremely happy.
Such a fun season that I throughly enjoyed following from the start.

I was shocked when they cut her so early. I thought she was one of the better singers and a lock for top 20 at least.

Laine was the early favorite and she would have split his votes. That’s why they put them head to head
That said - early discussions are she may go back next year with a huge boost. She is singing every where, working on a record and is best friends with Laine. She was there tonight too

I didn't start watching until after 8 pm, so I was able to ff through a lot of the show, thankfully. Otherwise, it would have been WAY too long.
Glad Laine won. Alejandro has a wonderful voice and is a talented songwriter. Seems like a humble guy. His songs are all too similar, though. Singing all of those originals took away from him in the finale, I believe.
