My thoughts: It's the spirit of some kid (maybe the doctor's) that died there then the doc Frankensteined it (or maybe it died because of it). If the kids is a female then it could have different looks depending on who looks at it (like the maid) thus the retarded girl can play with it because she doesn't see it the same way the gingers did.

The boy: He died there (although it hasn't been shown or mentioned, I think we can all agree on it). Maybe he's in tight with the maid and that's why he came across as pissed at Constance or maybe he truly has taken a liking to emo-daughter and thinks that Constance and the maid are pushing too hard (thus his reaction when the realtor was putting up the For Sale sign).

im just waiting on a big switch, i know its coming. i think the doctor knows more than he is showing

Question. The twins beat the hell out of that house with bats destroying all sorts of items. When the Dr. Wife came back she commented about the glass and chandeliers being origonal? Do they actually restore the house or does the "house" fix itself?
