See I don't think she is. She pops up way too much for her to be alive.
For example, when her and the maid were looking down on the husband building the gazebo over her bones, how the hell did she get there? That might be looking too much into it, but I think Lange and her special-Ed daughter are dead too. They pop up in the house so much out of nowhere.

I say this because Tate killed one of the girls who was there to re-enact the murder with an ax. Can ghosts really kill people on this show? If so, y doesn't Moira (maid) just kill constance if she is still alive? They may be able to since the thing in the basement killed the ginger kids in the 1st episode.

Constance and Addy were shown in their house when Constance locker her in the closet. Wouldn't that mean they are alive?

He's def dead. I think he's Lange's "only perfect son" she had that she referenced a couple episodes back.
For example, she was waving to tate when he was in the window this last episode, but he was invisible to the neighbor. The neighbor saw Lange waving to an empty window.

Just finished watching last nights episode and i guess I'll just outline my thoughts.
The timeline episode made tons of since with this episode. We now know that the neighbor next door killed the maid at a young age and I'm assuming that she bared her in the backyard ( that's why the maid was crying at the end)
Also, the explanation about the doctor makes since. But, I'm still wondering what he did with his child or if that's his child in the basement. It's very clear that he killed his wife.
Burning man is definitely not a ghost because he keeps trying to help Ben no matter what. I also found it hilarious that he hit Ben's mistress right in the face with that shovel and then made comment "I'm going to need that $1000)
It's also very clear that the maid can go after all weak men. Not just folks that live in the house. (The detective)
Overall, this show has yet to disappoint me and it's definitely my new favorite show for this year.
Also, who wants to start taking bets that Ben starts seeing ghostly imagines of his mistress outside.
