Seems funny that Hershel doesn't want firearms and his daughter was upset with T-Dog smashing the half a zombie. As if they don't want them killed.

I think there is a much deeper story there. Especially the daughters reaction.

With as far away as the barn it, its not unreasonable that they couldn't hear them. Also, they could be gagged or something. Who knows. Anybody watching that episode could tell there is something up with the barn.

For all you know by me saying he's hiding something he could have a fricking nuke in there ready to go off at any time. Thus he doesn't want guns around so no one shoots the barn causing the nuke to go off.

Nah, his dead wife needs to feed on brains. No guns are so that they can't defend themselves when the feast needs to occur.

I'm starting to think Merle took her when she left where she was hiding. Just a theory on why they haven't found her yet.

Interesting thought. I think Merle is going to hold a grudge against his brother for moving on with the people that abandoned him. I'm not sure what to make of the little girl being missing for so long. Maybe they found her in the woods before the kid got shot and are hiding her in the barn

FWIW I thought this episode was an improvement over last week but I am ready for them to move on. This house in the country does not get enough zombie action.

I'm thinking it's gun-toting zombies with each holding the key for a cure in the barn

i think the merle shite is a dream/hallucination. i can see in the preview of 5 that daryl goes off riding a horse looking for sophia. i assume he goes back to check that house where he saw the pallet and sardines eaten in that house. He either falls asleep or something somewhere or gets tired/dehydrated and dreams this shite about merle

This could be true. I don't see Merle coming back out of no where right now. Not with the pace this show is moving.

I can see this. The clip from Hell on Wheels shows Darryl falling off his horse and getting stabbed by one of his arrows. I could see a hallucination due to blood loss.

Could just be a flashback right before he passes out.

You think crusty brains will carry the "disease"?

Oh and next time can we either keep the preview for next episode hush hush or post a link to it?

Some of us don't have cable and the previews are hard to find.
