All I see is a gigantic opportunity for someone which has already built its own web hosting infrastructure because of just this type of matter, to become filthy rich as a new hosting service.

Up to close to 400 physical movies.

Going to look at getting them on to a hard drive at some point.

I own a lot of movies but nothing that would be considered "controversial"

May need to get the first season of the office on DVD just to be safe.

Can they still shut down a Blu ray remotely? That was one of the early technologies in it.

Or, I know the difference between a streaming service and a cloud hosting service. They're going to delete your pirated movies and Chinese kiddie porn, oml. This has nothing to do with licensed entertainment on their own service.

You fear-mongering retard.

I currently have (or have previously had) legal access to 30 Rock, Community, Always Sunny, and Peep Show. I'm still downloading all of them illegally because they've episodes have been removed for PC reasons (I believe ALL blackface).

Fortunately, I've only purchased physical books, never relied on digital/subscription.

Amazon had done this previously with books, updating editions on people's Kindles without permission. It wasn't to specifically target content, but the thought process behind it is sinister.

You have no control over your streaming library. You're just leasing it, at someone else's whim. Get physical media. You can then rip it to a hard drive and stream it locally with Plex. Books, music, movies... to quote an older show: We control the horizontal, we control the vertical.
