Sounds like you were wrong. This was real. But these are your people, prog. How embarrassing.

The posters used when selecting the movies on Prime have had all images of Bond holding a gun altered to remove it.
I feel safer now. This will stop the crackheads from carjacking people in New Orleans.

Take an established & popular franchise and trash it for a modern audience.
(Which doesn’t exist)
The Rings of Power treatment.
If they could find a way to make him black and gay…

For some reason, this immediately brought to mind the old Carlin bit where he talks about replacing the word “kill” with the word “f—-“ in all the old western movies….

You dumb MFers are definitely being had. Or are using dog shite sources. Again. Can’t find any legit source on this and the Amazon stock slider images when you click on dr. No and goldeneye on a tablet clearly show the gun. Both app and just the website. Someone is full of shite here.

Everything i see has guns and there are tons of other movies on Amazon with a person holding a gun. More "fake news" for the "snow flakes" to be offended by. LOL

Good Lord what's next?

They changed them with stills from the movies. Maybe just in the UK?
The link has a funny one with Brosnan holding a sandwich

From the stunning & brave folks who gave us Rings of Power...
Expecting any different with Bond is delusional.

as someone else mentioned, Amazon is also giving us Terminal List and Dark Wolf.
It's a strange thing going on over there... they can act like Disney on some stuff, but have also put out great shows too.
I'd say Dark Wolf is the best series of the year, maybe past couple of years.

You don't go to the Middle East much, do you? Theaters there blur out kippahs (but not Tallit oddly) in movies shown, like in War Dogs (funeral scene with an obvious Rabbi, but the kippah was apparently a bridge too far.) Other ME airlines won't show Wonder Woman because Gal Godot is their Jewish terror.

You are fake news.
How you can be so confidently wrong with all the posts in this thread is mind blowing.

It's an odd decision to remove guns from the Bond posters, because they're often a featured part of that image.
Not sure what you'd do with these:

Why is everyone acting like this isn’t something that can’t be easily checked? You don’t need articles, you can just literally search the movie.
Let’s have a heavily contested name calling argument instead of simply just going to Prime and looking.
The two movies from the op…
Blurry because I couldn’t get it to focus on my computer screen. But the first poster still has the gun and the second isn’t even the same image they use for the poster.

They changed it back almost immediately after it was noticed.
Why are you guys acting like this is fake?
You believe the articles are all fake?
I will stake my account on the absolute FACT that the picture for Goldeneye in the OP was 100% the poster for it when I searched “Goldeneye” on the date and time I posted the first response in this thread.
The OP is 100% fact, despite the fact that Amazon changed it back after the backlash.
This is Corinthians420 level dishonesty by you.

Following James Bond Day on Oct. 5 and growing online backlash, Prime Video U.K. has now — stealthily, much like the super spy himself — removed the controversial artworks altogether and replaced them with stills from each film. However, it has been noted online that none of the stills feature Bond carrying his gun. Prime Video refused to comment on the matter.
They are refusing to comment.
Hell, that quote is from Variety.

I didn't read the thread. I clicked on the last page and saw yall arguing about it and thought "Well this will be easy to confirm." If they were taken out and then changed back, good. I'm not arguing that it was fake.
Not sure where my dishonesty was, I just simply posted what was on my screen.
