Well he went to jail for strangling a female Paramount exec, so I imagine that didn’t help his career a ton.

Yeah, definitely a tough one. I think it's an extremely overrated movie though.

Surprisingly nearly every scene is a pretty close depiction to the true story. Years ago, I got really wrapped up in all the court cases and followed Hollywood’s (Truelove) very closely after he was captured.
Rugge (Timberlake’s character) got parolled a couple of years ago and has some interviews out there. Doesn’t speak much about the movie tho as Hollywood is still involved in appeals.
Interesting story to follow.

Holy shite I had no idea Emile did that, wow.
Does this movie have the most “underrated actors” of all time?

I think the story captivated me because of that reason. These were a bunch of white wanna be kids just trying to act tough. Typical Louisiana. Granted, these weren’t the typical suburban kids the story made it out to be, but as a whole that’s what it was and shite got carried away really fast.
I am still shocked it really came down to killing a kid. You’d think someone along the train would’ve woke up. The Jesse James Hollywood story is a very interesting one. I got really wrapped up in it.

It has to be up there for the dumbest and most senseless murders.
He's afraid of a kidnapping charge where the kid eventually went along with it and then goes for murder to avoid the kidnapping charge?
BTW, I thought Bully was a better movie.
Alpha Dog is a sad movie because the entire story makes no sense.

Say goodbye, say goodbye to Hollywood

The initial stabbing when Brad Renfro just comes up behind Nick Stahl, stabs him in the back of neck, and Stahl just turns around surprised and says "owww" has always stuck with me for some reason. It wasn't the typical Hollywood stabbing, it seemed like it was actually happening

Bully and Razor's Edge seemed raw (going along with this teen/YA theme of senseless murder.)
