A woman has won before. First season of Australia. There have been numerous very impressive women on the show. Nothing wrong with having women on there, just have to pick the right ones.

I think more than putting women on there, it's the diversity aspect of it that is hurting them. It's like they want someone of every country and age. The middle eastern guy they had on there that tapped early on by faking throwing up was like 125 pounds soaking wet. I've seen the casting episodes and they have thousands and thousands of entries and doing a very strong vetting process. But you cannot add a guy that skinny. It's just dumb. You're putting someone on the show that you know, based off 11+ seasons of evidence, will never come close to winning.

Then they put the really old people on there. Some of them have done well but most are just not physically able to sustain themselves. They might be good survivalists on tape and be able to hunt, fish, trap, etc. but they know they can't last but put them on there anyway.

I don't think she taps next but it wont be too long. She's already talking about her strength waning by not being able to pull her bow back like she used to.

I personally really like the different setting. I think it is a really cool place and like that it's just another see who can starve the longest seasons. It's just the contestants this year are very sub par. Already pretty clear who the final three are going to be.

Ahh ok. I didn't watch that season. Season 7 had a girl finish 2nf, I think her name was Carrie. She was awesome. But no way she could have beat Roland. Any other season, she would have won I think.

Yea I mean I guess it's technically not one of the regular seasons, but a spin-off. But I will say, that was a nasty, nasty terrain for season one of Australia. It looked freaking miserable, so it was pretty impressive a woman won. She was a legit good survivalist.

For sure. She was the one that got frostbite on her toe that took her out maybe? I want to say there was another Carrie as well that was really good. Younger girl and pretty muscular. Those two girls and one from another season, she had a weird name like Wynonya or something, she was really good. Built a bad arse shelter.

This is me being skeptical of peoples motives again but I got the feeling Dug faked his fainting. He just happen to fall in the one area with no rocks and his camera just happened to fall in the other direction so you didn't see him fall. Maybe not, these people probably aren't drinking nearly enough water.

Another weak episode..only 3 people left after 19 days. (Bye Baha). There's nothing remarkable about this episode. This season might not last to day 30.

Yea another boring episode. Kelsey is the worst. I was hoping she would tap during her crying spell. They don’t show Katie at all. Maybe the last few episodes will get really good, but I don’t see it.

Literally nothing happened in this last episode.

Don't waste your money. It's not worth it. As much as I love the series, a season like this is the type that can kill it.

Will this make it to 10 episodes?

I'm 2 episodes behind and doesn't sound like I am missing much. I was hoping someone would say Kelsey tapped.

She got at least 30lbs of meat off that thing. At least 30lbs. and that's me estimating that she was only able to preserve maybe 60% of the deboned meat as i assume with the heat, preserving method and storage, she was bound to lose a good bit of meat.
So she's been able to eat over a lb of meat every single day, which is probably about 1000 calories.
Maybe dont' do pushups every morning wasting precious calories in a survival situation.

I just wonder who's really watching this show? Am i in the minority, like you, and dont' want to hear this sob story bullshite from everyone and just want to see some survival?
Seeing the hut Nathan built was awesome with the clay/mud roof. That's what this show is about, imo.

and i have to point out the idiot trying to use a weak reed looking "stick" as a fishing pole and then complaining and quitting when it broke. I just laughed when it happened. Like what the hell did you expect?

and a reminder that Kelsey brought salt/sugar/rice (1/3 lb of each). Let me know how those 3 things have helped you in this survival situation.
That 1/3lb of rice is less than a cup of dried rice. What the hell are you going to do with that? That's like 200 calories right there. Did she use the salt to cure some of the warthog meat? Sure would have been nice to see how it was used in any way other than sprinkling some on your food for taste. What the hell did you use the sugar for? you wanted to sweeten up your meat? Complete waste of a precious 10 item that was since it wasn't used in any meaningful survival technique (unless they didn't show that). Bringing that simply to add to the flavor of your meals is stupid. She could have very easily taken the warthogs belly meat and cured it with the salt, preserving some precious meat, and eating bacon.

If you wanted to bring food, then you should have brought beef tallow, which would have provided 4,000 calories, or the pemmican which would have provided 5,000 calories.
