None of them have special, unexpected abilities either, like Magneto level control over electronics and systems, of any kind. No one bothered to check the specs on her to see how THAT developed? No? OK.
And again, why did the Prodigy Power Rangers, I mean the 'security team' decide to NOT rally at the armory as they implicitly stated was their goal? But instead chose a side mission to the alien lab where all the critters were being held? Oh, was it to 'help' people? On whose orders? Would make so much more sense to secure the armory, gear up, and send 2-3 to the lab as a precaution. But no, the show needed to wrap things up and let everyone see what the plant thingy could do.
RIP Coco Ranger.

I am a giant alien fan and watch all of them except 3 or 4 every year.
It’s in a same vane with some cool scenes but has way too much filler and dumb plot lines and dialogue but i enjoyed it and will be back for S2

Also… I want to say that the brother hiding in the glass cage against the eye alien may have been the smartest movie by a protagonist in an alien movie since Ripley.
Most of these movie are built around stupidity, and that was a rare moment of quick thinking.

And showed the intelligence of eyeball to then circle around and get inside via the feeding tray.
Which basically means it could have escaped at almost any time, if it wanted, but chose to wear the sheep's clothing until the opportunity arose.

I'll probably watch a Season 2, but man, with tbe exception of a few scenes, that was really disappointing.

I agree. The last two episodes were let downs. I'm fine with her controlling the Xeno but they gave her too much power. And they wasted too much time. Plus. I can understand a swarm taking out a platoon. But that squad should have taken out the lone alien.
Also i was hoping the little one would be a queen.

I say yes. But it could have been better. It's worth the time. But it's not season on GoT or season 5 Breaking Bad.

Depends on what you're expecting. I thought it was enjoyable. It's not perfect by any means. But if you're not super anal about the Aliens universe you'll be alright.

The show runner power much confirmed a second season. Likely will take a while though. I'm used to saying"next year" instead of next season.

Just binged it, did not watch it weekly. Had its ups and downs but it was good enough to keep me interested. Will watch season two.
