Yeh ... that would be Mr. Mike White. He's into writing for ladies, but not necessarily being with one.
I did ask the 1st Assistant Director about the first season, when the cast and crew were all sequestered at a Four Seasons in Hawaii. Can you imagine every day you are seeing those two (SS/AD) at breakfast and moving around the grounds. He specifically said that SS would sunbathe on her days off out on some rocks in front of the resort. AD he said was reserved, but nice.
I worked with AD's current ex Andrew ... I liked him and he's a big producer tied in Michael Bay. Even at 57, dude will bounce back quickly.

I did a pilot with Sarah Chalke a long time ago ... 12 years maybe? It was directed by Jay Chandrasekhar, but for some reason wasn't very well written or funny. Never saw the light of day.
