I mean look, you might consider “MAGA” a totally separate thing from this guy but it is being reported as politically motivated and in this case the perpetrator is highly conservative and targeted liberals.
At some point we just have to admit that we as a country are sick and it’s at least in part because we are so entrenched in our team’s rhetoric.

Whatever his motivations are, don’t have anything to do with entertainment or television.

Well thats funny because this got filed today with the court case in Utah: Robinson’s mother also allegedly told investigators, “Over the last year or so, her son had become more political and had started to lean more to the left, becoming more pro gay and trans-rights oriented.” Just given the facts of who was killed and the background of the shooter given present info which story you going to believe? yeah pretty easy choice unless you watch MSM twist it as usual.
quote:
You do know that there was a murdered state congresswoman and her husband in Minnesota about a month ago
Guess he missed the part where the murdered congresswoman voted against the Dems and her family paid the price for not voting with her liberal dems. MSM media buried that one real quick but the libs cant seem to understand that. The Guy was a white male so that automatically sends them to he was a Maga. Now we know why they keep losing elections.

And y'all happy about this are aware that eventually the pendulum is going to swing back eventually that's how it always works.
In this, you are not wrong. What you’re missing is that this IS the pendulum swinging back. This is exactly what the right was saying for the last 10 years and the left laughed. This is the shoe on the other foot. Where was your handwringing when Fox canned Carlson for J6 comments?
I’m a registered independent that despises both political parties, but it’s entirely ignorant to act like this is what set the pendulum in motion. The pendulum swung largely left for a decade. Now that it’s swinging back, they want to talk about slippery slopes

He really didn’t say anything particularly offensive. I don’t get it.
And so our government is going to pressure networks to eliminate content it doesn’t like. Just great. Do we want to be like those European countries that seek to control “hate speech” or do we believe in the 1st Amendment?

Kinda how the FBI pressured social media in the COVID era? You’re now thinking this is a problem? I’m no fan of the FCC comments, but the left talking about free speech is comical after the last 5 years.

These people are pathological liars

Me neither. They have to know how it looks. But at the same time, the left would have just blamed it on Trump either way and say “Kimmel was fired for criticizing Trump” or point to previous comments of Trump.

It won’t matter. Lefties already have their narrative.

lol now that’s a deflection. Again pathologically dishonest, there is zero % chance of returning to reality for people like you.

I like this. I don't like the way a group i only engaged with on social media dealt with celebrity cancel culture, so government pressure to snuff out disagreeable opinions is fine by me!

That's fricking it
Knowingly lying and deceiving his audience. On a prime time channel? Yeah. Good riddance to bad rubbish

cancel culture
This isn’t cancel culture you dunce. Cancel culture would be when someone’s unpleasantness in the past is dug up and comes back to haunt them, ultimately resulting in them being fired or ostracized over it. You know, say if someone dressed up in black face on a tv show they cohosted.
This unpleasantness happened in real time. Jimbo straight up lied about the shooter’s affiliation and tried to pen it on MAGA. Because he’s a feckless bitch. ABC called him into a meeting where he was told to chill. To which, his response would have been doubling down, had he not gotten canned. That’s not being canceled. That’s called being retarded.
He’s also an insufferable twat.

Dependent on current political affiliation of course.

Boelter was appointed to a government position by a democrat, Mark Dayton, and was reappointed by democrat Tim Walz. So much for "highly conservative".

The words "they let you" never do seem to matter to you people, huh?
And it was a joke, standard Trump hyperbole for effect. As is so often the case with humor.
It's not that anyone says you MUST find it funny. Or even agree with his bigger issue about 'fame', but that you people insist on LYING about whatever you can to disparage Trump. Russia Russia Russia was weaponized lying on a global scale, so the small stuff doesn't matter to you one bit, it's clear.

You DO get it. You're just pretending not to in order to gaslight grieving millions and push the ridiculous narrative that Trump himself was on the phone getting Jimmy cancelled. Like Obama literally was with the cancelling of Rosanne Barr.
The MAGA Gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it,”
There is no world in which this means anything OTHER than Jimmy is saying that the shooter was in fact 'one of them'. Because why on Earth would there ever be a need to characterize him other than what he is? With what was known to be true at the time he said it, and still IS true. The killer is a full tilt Leftist Trans loving furry psycho, with sympathies, if not actual ties, to ANTIFA or like minded groups. A solid Left winger. Regardless of who his parents are, how he may have registered politically in the past ( never a valid argument anyways).
The insertion of the idea that the 'even FURTHER Right' would try to snuff out Charlie Kirk, void of any evidence and in the face of overwhelming evidence of the militant Trans and Gay movement openly calling for this level of violence and more is nothing but a fever dream of the Left.
“In between the finger-pointing, there was grieving,” .
No, there was instant and profound grieving , from the onset of the story breaking. It's human nature to 'finger point', to identify and then address the cause of this. As is the case in any unjust, violent murder. Be it 9-11 or the slaying of Iryna, it's pure common sense to see who did it, know their intent, and deal with them. Legally, to send a message and for all the other reasons required to ensure we continue to live in a civilized society.
The fatigue of dealing with you types who insist on defending the likes of Kimmel even after more facts have come to light is palpable.
