4-part deal, ran the last 2 nights. They will be showing it again, and it's available on demand.
Other than the parts where he beat his wives (all three of them), he was a pretty amazing dude. He was very thoughtful, and articulate in the way he constructed his thoughts, but he obviously had a speech impediment. I could never understand a damn thing he said. Worth a watch.

Saw him in concert back in 1994.

I did blow at his concert back in 94. Backstage.

I also thought it was very good except for the little snowflake shite at the end that tried to justify people not buying his records anymore because of his support of Nixon. #CancelCultcha. James was a long time supporter of black empowerment and business.

Let's give it up for the Reverend Cleophus James!

That and the crack addiction.
But he mercilessly beat his wives. Dee Dee, I believe, he dragged into the yard and got on top of her and closed fist beat her to a bloody pulp. I still listen to his music, but it's a pretty big arse stain on his memory, imo. I wouldn't have an issue if someone said they wouldn't listen to him anymore because of it. It was really, really bad.

Crap. We just switched to YouTube TV and it doesn't have A&E. Are there any other ways to watch?
This is one of my favorite collaborations Luciano Pavarotti, James Brown - "It's A Man's World" YouTube

I watched it online from A&E.
Does anyone know who the interviewer at the very end was? It's the very last part of the entire series.
