The promos have begun for A Star Is Born directed by Bradley Cooper and starring himself and Lady Gaga. Looks like an awards contender...

Lady Gaga may be the perfect woman to make the transition from singer to actress and this movie has a lot of potential because of her being cast in this role.

Huh...Lady Gaga almost looks decent when she's normal as opposed to dressed up like an idiot all the time. Color me surprised.

She is supremely dedicated to making herself a bigger star. As Katy Perry once said "you won't out famous Lady Gaga, she lives for this shite."
For a while that meant getting nekkid as often as she could and dressing in the oddest clothing humanly possible. Now its "prove that I can act my arse off".

Hollywood sure does like this movie.
A Star is Born (2018) is a remake of the 1976 film starring Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson, which is in turn a remake of a 1954 film starring Judy Garland and James Mason, which is also a remake of a 1937 movie.

After watching the trailer I think this movie is going to be huge.
The old Star is Born crowd that remembers Streisand will watch for nostalgia and to compare.
And the young Lady Gaga fans will come out in droves.
It will also get the musical crowd that don't go to comic book movies.
I mean La La Land and Mama Mia made a shite ton of money and they were okay.
I could see this movie making $200 mil domestic.
It probably cost $30 million to make.
