Yeah, obviously that route was closed to him now.
I was speaking more of before...remember the conversation when Tyrion bring up how he wants Casterly Rock?

I don't know. Both in the show and in the book you don't directly see him die. GRRM could have cleared it up in the show if he wanted to. It just leaves the possibility open.
Not saying he is definitely alive, but there's a chance.
ETA: just look at ole lady stoneheart. I thought for sure she was down and out.

With syrio i could kinda go either way. It wouldn't surprise me if he was still alive but it wouldn't surprise me if he was dead either. One thing is though that if he was alive i would think he would've found arya and gotten her out of kings landing quickly.
ETA: I was actually kind of dissapointed in stoneheart, I didnt like her character before and i still dont now
I just thought it was one of the few parts of the book that wasnt done well. IDK maybe its just me.

He wanted it, but I do not see Tywin ever giving it too him. He told Tyrion flat out that he was never getting it.

This man speaks truthfully.
The Others take Tywin Lannister.

plus the only way I can get through a sansa chapter is the hope that a Jon chapter is next.
What are you talking about? I love the Sansa chapters! It's the only way to figure out what Littlefinger is up to, the crafty m'fer.. He's more transparent in the show (so far) but in the book, he's still hard to figure, especially (imo) after the last Alayne/Sansa chapter. I can't figure out his angle. WHY is he setting her up for the Vale-Eryie/Winterfell? What's he gonna get out of it?? I can't believe it's simply because he thinks he'll have a useful ally or people will be grateful to him. I would think he wants more than just that.
ALSO, will he come face to face with Lady Stoneheart and what's THAT gonna look like... heh.

Sansa is just a whiny little bitch, but ill give you one thing. Ill probably enjoy them more after reading the last one

Hence my earlier question.
Unless he had a plot to take the white off of Jaime, there wasn't anyone else...

Sansa is getting better.
But frick if she wasn't vapid as all hell in the first book.

I think this is why I hate the chapters. They were brutal in the first book. "arya always ruins everything

Kevan is the only one left that I can think of

If he could not get it too Jamie, (I think he would have had Joffrey let Jamie retire kinda like what they did with Selmy but a lot nicer)he would have gave it too Tommen or Lancel.

One of the only episodes actually written by the author and they make a point of leaving his living or dying up in the air.
Also, in the season finale, the character we assume is Jaquen H'gar has his face covered by a hood. Is it because they haven't cast the role yet, or was Syrio taken to the black cells and had not changed his face yet?

Don't want to know details, but what book # is the RW in?

Sweet. I'm almost done with 2 now. I keep seeing veiled references to it being the biggest epic event in the series, and have been trying to stay away from spoilers.

It is probably more likely that they haven't cast him yet, but they sure made a point of showing the carriage and one of the guys was hooded.
I don't remember this and I was looking hard, but the wiki LINK has what looks like a screen cap from the show. I don't know if that is him or not though. The link is just to the picture page so no spoilers even though I'm probably the only one who hasn't finished AFFC

For your sake I hope you don't even know what it stands for.
