Kevin Kline inhaling and exhaling Wanda’s boot during their sex scene is one of the funniest things I’ve seen in a film. This is easily one of my favorite movies.
This was a go to movie for me in the 2000s for stay at home date nights. Women had almost never seen it and just can’t resist that 1980s London vibe.

How many scenes would get woked out of the movie? None of the stuttering scenes would make the cut. Perhaps even PETA would rip all the doggie scenes.

Her 2 semi-nude scenes in "Trading Places" were epic. At the time, she sported one of the nicest racks to ever be exposed on film.

Considering her parents were Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh, she definitely underachieved in the face department.
I however don't share the same admiration for this film as that of the majority in this thread. Imo if you take Kline's performance out, I find the movie shockingly lame.
I remember Michael Palin catching hell for his stuttering character in what is the first PC violation that I can remember.

Had just finished a three year stint in England when this movie came out, which made it all the more hilarious being well acquainted with the Brit way of doing things.
One of the best comedies to fly under the radar of all time.
If this movie doesn't make you laugh you have little hope.
May have to spool it up this weekend to relive British humor at it's best

Another "Almost" Python movie (like Yellowbeard) with really good comedy gags and outstanding acting, which top tier 1980s comedies tended to have.
Kline gets the attention, here, but obviously Curtis and Cleese were outstanding and Palin, while his role was silly, held the movie together.
