Most people's top 5 will vary on their age for sure correct. if anyone remebers Tim Conway and Harvey Korman, they would definitely put them on the list. Dom Deluise was no slouch either.

Conway and Korman were a great team, but individually I would only rank Conway among the best.

Interesting that no one has mentioned Bob Hope.

fair enough, but Harvey Korman as Hedley Lamar in Blazing Saddles was some funny shite.

I know it must be a generational thing, but Ferrel is just not that funny to me. He is in Wedding Crashers and probably some other movies,. But overall, I find his schtick a little tired. Same with Sabdler, even in the 90's it was the same dude over and over. Except Waterboy and Little Nicky.

Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy 80's, Bill Murray are all legit and could be on anyone's top 5 list.

Neither do I. His style got old real fast.

"Hey, lets go watch that movie about the 40 year old who acts like a kid."

That is Will Ferrell in pretty much every role.

Bill Murray should be on every list.
Eddie Murphy
Chevy Chase

I've gotta think hard after those three. Belushi, Steve Martin, Candy. I can't really decide.

serious as well as embarrassed. can't help thinking he's a frickin riot

Nothing to be ashamed of. It seems almost everybody around here thinks Jack Black is garbage; I think he is friggin hilarious. I like Jim Carrey too though. Dumb and Dumber and the Ace Ventura movies alone put him high on my list. I think he is underrated as a serious actor too.

Chris Eigeman is vastly underrated.

In The Last Days of Disco and Kicking and Screaming, he was fricking hilarious.
