I'm still leaning towards the analyst in the CIA being up to something. Hopefully the next 2 weeks ends the story of Margo and the drones, so we can get to the real bad guy.

Tonight was a really really good episode, best since Jack unloaded on Logan's presidential motorcade

Haven't watched last night's episode yet, so I will check back later after I do, but can someone tell me a little more about these people? I see Audrey is the President's daughter and is with a tool bag. Was she with Jack at one point? Who are the other 3? Didn't Jack save the President in the final season? Why does Heller and Audrey not know about him now? Maybe this is answered from last night...
I only saw parts of the final season and it interested me, but never have watched all 7 or so. I guess I might have to try.
And btw, this is as bad as The Following with the plot holes and easy escapes. I think the main difference I'm noticing from final season and the 2 episodes I have seen so far is that Jack is a badass who does funny shite (kills). Ryan Hardy doesn't take shite either though, but he's a dumbass whereas it seems like Bauer is the man.

Jack and Audrey were together seasons 4-5 when Heller was Secretary of Defense. Jack got captured by Chinese at end of S5. Jack was released at the beginning of S6, but we find that Audrey had been captured after she had gone to China to find Jack. They got her back but she was messed up and didn't recognize anyone including Jack. They never spoke again until now.
-Kim is Jack's daughter. She once wrestled a cougar
-Tony was Jack's partner at CTU for a few seasons, then became a bad guy, sort of.
-Aaron is a presidential body guard. Been in every season except the last one(I think)
Jack went on a rampage at the end of S8, killed a bunch of Russians. Ambushed Pres. Logan's motorcade (BAD arse) and had to leave the country with the assistance of President Taylor and Chloe.
As far as Heller and Audrey not knowing what happened to Jack, that isn't entirely clear.

Just watched episode 4 and about to start episode 5, show has been great!
One thing though, Jack shooting into that crowd would have probably caused a war not just a little riot, and if that didn't cause it them rushing the embassy would probably do it.
How is it that it all just blew over?
