Well he should be. He’s an excellent actor.
In any other year, Giamatti gets it because he was excellent as well IMO. Oppenheimer is just huge this year and rightfully so.
I do appreciate having excellent choices in most of the big categories.

It is not. Clothing is a technology that has been developed over tens of thousands of years. In a lot of these cases, they’re either doing things that have never been done before or having to recreate old technologies when done well

That’s like saying acting is a technical category because people have been talking for centuries.
There’s a reason clothing is displayed in museums. Some of it is art.
