A lot funnier in your head.

Actually, I doubt that it was. At all.

The wife, who watches notoriously bad shows (and knows this fact) told me last night that she couldn’t watch more than 5 mins of the show.

If she hates it, I know that the show must be very, very bad.

Love Life is actually good, but it’s not a Netflix show. It’s HBO Max.

Nobody ever has to wait for your mom.

Regarding Emily in Paris I will say it's nothing most people on this board would watch on their own, but it's really not bad for a chick flick/rom com series your wife or gf would get you to watch with them.

If I had to give an elevator pitch of it, it's "The Devil Wears Prada" mashed up with every joke about the french and adultery ever told. Also, the French apparently are very upset at the stereotypical comedy about them in the show, so I think some of you would enjoy watching it just to spite the French.

frick it I’m man enough to admit I love this show. Binged it last weekend. It is terribly acted, some what very predictable, cheesy, and overall technically terrible, but amazing at the same time. The accents were bad, the characters were tropes, and the character depth was shallow as a puddle but couldn’t help rooting for Emily.

Can’t wait for season 2.
