Gosh, I loved these movies: Poseidon Adventure, Airport, The Toweing Inferno - which had one of the greatest casts ever assembled - Faye Dunaway, Fred Astaire, Paul Newman, Steve McQueen, Robert Wagner, Robert Vaughn, William Holden, Dabney Coleman, OJ SIMPSON

Irwin Allen wasn't done in the 70's. "When Time Ran Out" was the volcano movie from 1980. Paul Newman, William Holden, Jaqueline Bisset, Ernest Borgnine, Burgess Meredith, and others.

All those disaster movies and movies of the week were recycled on UHF when I was a kid. They prepared me for so much...earthquakes, mudslides, avalanches, cave-ins, you name it.
Probably why I've never panicked in a flood.
