Why in the hell would the parents of the school even think letting these nut jobs go camping was even a good idea? Clay’s parents are the worst, his arse should of been removed from that school and been in therapy way before this season.

Either my school was extremely fricking lucky and tame, or this stuff is just insane
Please tell me schools aren’t really like this these days.

What is the basis of season 4? I completely skipped season 3 because I didn't give a rats arse about watching a full season to see who killed the POS Bryce. If season 4 is watchable then I may give it a chance.

It’s mostly about them continuing to cover up who killed Bryce and Clay’s descent into madness. It’s bad, don’t watch it. I finished it because I wanted to know what happened at the end but I started just time skipping to get past parts I didn’t give a shite about.

I'm only 2 episodes in, and am SHOCKED that they haven't played the tranny character card this far into a faux woke narrative that has taken over since S1 ended.

No trans issues from what I remember.

Spolierish:
How the hell did they flip a convertible at high speed and both of them barely have a scratch on them?

I didn’t even finish season 3. Making fun of it was hilarious but I couldn’t stomach trying to give Bryce a bit of a redemption arc after going out of their way to portray them as an evil unredeemable a-hole for 2 seasons.
At this point if I even tried to watch it I’d be irrationally pissed they gave this dumpster fire a fourth season but cancelled Santa Clarita diet.

This shite coincides perfectly with today’s events. Coincidence?
Holy hell this show has devolved into total nonsense

Since I watched the first 3 season and this was the last, I felt like I need to give it a chance. First 3 episodes down............ wow this whole series went down the toilet. The first season was pretty great from what I remembered, but it should have ended after the first season.
How many times has clay gotten beat up during this series?

Clay Jensen is largely bulletproof with respect to the Evergreen juvenile justice system. He should've been hauled off to juvie about half a dozen times, particularly for that last stunt at the PD.
Sheriff Diaz was covering hardcore for him. But likely didn't know Clay banged his daughter.
(ETA: Well, I don't know if you could call it "banged")

I think the Justin story arc was pretty good, his ending was way too rushed.
The ending of the series kinda blew off Hannah who was the main point of the show. They used old film of her and couldn’t even get her for 1 shot.

I was super bummed that we didn't see any new footage of Hannah. I agree that the story shot past the fact that it all started because of her.
In retrospect, it probably shouldn't have surprised us that Clay went full Looney Tunes because he was carrying on a conversation with a dead girl for 3 seasons.
The end really fell flat for me. Makes me wonder how that conversation went...
"So then Clay and Tony get it the car and drive off."
"And they reflect on what all they've been through for the past 4 years?"
"Nah, they just ride in silence for 60+ seconds while everyone braces for Tony's Mustang to get broadsided by a semi. You know, since we've prepped the audience to expect absolutely EVERY bad thing that can happen."

I am trying to explain the plot to her, but damn if I got lost as a goose. Then I realized I was trying to describe the role of Hannah and there was no real mention of the essential story
