Desert movie with 90s cinematography/film set in the 30s

I've never seen the Mummy so that seems to have been a popular guess.

The only 90s desert movie set in that time period I could think of was the movie

i'll be honest and say that i put Lawrence of Arabia every single time there's a desert until it's an answer.
