Tee times just came out.
Split tees starting at 6:40 going until 8:16.
It should be open early.

Looks like they have until about 1:00 PM CDT (1400 EDT on radar loop below) to finish before rain. Will be very close call. With 4 players per group, the round will last longer than the normal approx. 4 hours per 2-man pairing. 8:16 AM plus 4 hours and 44 minutes is 1:00 PM.

Looking at radar this morning, I don't think they will be able to finish before rain. Line is almost to BR already.

Anyone know if yesterday's crowds broke a tournament record? By far the most people I've seen out there in the last 10 years for a Saturday.

They said it was a record crowd. Sunday forecast obviously had a lot to do with it. I've got 4 acme passes for today going to waste.

I just looked at the radar, not looking good baws. Will be there in 30-45 minutes.
Does the course drain decently?

It's been very dry and hard, should drain pretty well I'm 15 miles west of the course and the wind is howling but no rain. Looks to be an hour away and moving fast on a NE path. Should be through here by 2 pm

They're playing lift clean and cheat before the storm?! Or is that required because they can't change the rules after the rain?

Can't change in the middle of the round. Good decision since rain is going to interupt the round.

It gets very sloppy out there after rain. The playing areas will be fine, but the spectator areas can become a mess.

It should have been alternate shot today. In hindsight, would have gotten the round over with quicker.
But also, I think it would make Sunday more fun. More drama.

Yeah. Alternate shot is much quicker. But the scores are usually atrocious.

I like the birdie fest that comes from this. Makes for good watching on Sunday.
