Nice crowd following Spieth. Bubba in group ahead of them.

I was next to the tee on 9 when Spieth was walking up. He was talking to his caddie about how he thought they should have pushed the tees back to make it harder today playing best ball. He proceeded to be the only player in the group to miss the green when he came up about 15 yards short

I saw you filming that Skuter. He was on the left side of 7 and some old baw scurried him through the woods towards the pond on 18. We got to 8 tee and Boo said " someone's gonna get a surprise walking back there."

I made the gif

Walking it today it's actually in good shape. Rough is awful but that's nothing new for that course. Fairways and greens are good.

Fowler didn't play well, but Jason Day has been (relatively) bad all year.

Justin Rose's pre-shot routine pains me.

Really think Top 35 and ties cut is too severe. You could have teams only 7 off the lead in this format not make the weekend.

But it leaves you with around 70 players total, which would be the same as any other tour event.

Net's baw Stenson probably out. At least I got him a few good videos and pics of his hero.

Rose had his own problems. Had to pickup on #1 after a shank into the trees on his second shot.

He's been off all year. He's always locked in and does that routine the exact same way every time.

This year, I've noticed he does the hand thing and then will start looking all over the place as he walks up to address the ball. And he hits putts and will look around while the ball is rolling. Just doesn't seem to have that hyper focus that we're used to seeing.

True. Must be the TV. I know they always want it firm and fast and some of the course suffers

I swear I feel like Fowler and Day sand bag this every year. Show up per Zurich sponsorship and get out.

I drove Rickie and Joe (his caddie) back to the Roosevelt last year and all they talked about was making sure they made it for JazzFest concerts.
