Zero chance Belichick sees Stidham as future QB.

If Jarrett Stidham starts next year then the Pats are tanking or have a free agent in mind for next off season. The dude was drafted in the 4th round and was very mediocre in college. No way in the world Belichick let’s them go from Tom Brady to Jarrett Stidham.

Yeah. Tom was a first round pick and everyone knew he would be great too. Jarrett regressed big time in year 2 with Gus. He’s got an arm. If he’s sat and learned from Tom and Bill then he’s got a great shot.

Brady is one in a million. The Patriots have drafted multiple QBs over the years including Ryan Mallet in the 3rd rounds Drafted Stidham in the fourth, you trying to say Stidham might be great because he was a low draft pick and so was Tom Brady is awful.

No one is saying Stidham is going to be Tom Brady. You said Belichick would never go with him because he was a 4th rounder and wasn't all that great in college. That makes zero sense. He has done that. With Brady. No one knew he would become what he did, but he did exactly that.
Oh and Stidham is not a bad QB. He was fricking good at Baylor. Auburn just was a bad fit for his skill set. But he's got a chance to be an NFL QB.
You're just wrong all the way around here with this. It's all just your opinion, which is fine. But you are stating this as some kind of fact and it's just not logical thinking based on your examples.

He won’t go with him not because he was a 4th rounder but because he is a 4th round talent, he is not some great hidden gem.

That’s why Stidham won’t be their QB next season. Zero percent chance Belichick trots Stidham out there, Patriot fans would crucify him.

His best year of college he threw 18 touchdowns. He is not an NFL starter... that’s why he was drafted in the 4th round, nobody wanted him and Belichick didn’t want him until the 4th.
