Canes looking good beating Devils at their own game so far, to Ray Ferraro’s lament.
I like the Kraken story, getting offensive production from multiple players. The same media that talks about how impressive that is discounts the Canes doing the same thing. Yes Svechnikov and Pacioretty are out but the Canes MO is to get goals from everyone which they did against the Islanders. They led the NHL in blue line goals this year but the media essentially gave up on the Canes once Svech went down. They had the second most points in the points in the league this year.
I know, game 1, twenty minutes to go but as a Canes fan I’m liking what I see so far.

I feel like a lot of folks had them as a sexy pic getting out of the east (even before Boston shite the bed). They are a really good team and I wouldn't be at all surprised if its Carolina and Florida in the ECF.

Does N.C. State really need all of those numbers retired? They are N.C. State, not North Carolina. I get David Thompson and a couple of others but it looks like they have about 20 retired jerseys up there and none of them look like hockey jerseys.

To be fair their only retired jersey is David Thompson which is deserved. The others are “honored” so the rafters aren’t bare.
My daughter just finished her freshman year at NC State and she was born 20 years after the pack won their last title.
