Florida playing physical is the long game in a 7 game series. Those hits compound.

Marceneaux, Smith, Karlson, Carrier, and McNabb all being part of that team that lost to the Capitals in the finals has helped Vegas a ton. They have to feel like they don't know how many more chances for a Cup they will get so they have extra urgency for this series.

I'm happy with holding serve on home ice but I'm not celebrating just yet. Still need 2 more wins to lift the Cup. Florida's been written off before and stormed back. They need to realize that gooning it up isn't gonna work with VGK.

the panthers are a grinding team. look at all those low scoring 1 goal wins they got by with. i made a ton betting the under on them against the leafs. all 5 games hit the under.
vegas has too much skill. that grinding out low scoring 2-1 and 3-2 wins wont work now. not against vegas.

Hoping that you're right, FB. That Habs series went south when Fleury went full Dangle Dang It at the end of Game 3. That moment was COVID season personified. 
Still, following the Knights since their inception and being a lifelong Saints fan has taught me to wait until the end before celebrating...even then, have someone slap the beejezus outta ya so that you know it's not a dream.
