You'd think Shanahan would learn to go for the win one of these days

You can forget how to win.
You never forget how to lose.

His issue is going away from the run when A) it's working and B) they have a lead.

He got the ball down to what, the 7? and kicked with 4th & 2? Then watched Mahomes jog down and win. Should have just gone for the TD and closed it out.

Yes, for calling long developing pass plays instead of just giving it to the NFL's leading rusher who was feasting.

He wouldn't have scored. He would have dropped Purdy back for a slow developing play over the middle snd the ball would get batted down.

It happened basically every key play in the 2nd half.

It’s not Shanahans fault.

disagree. they wasted the first 2 drives of the 2nd half with the lead by throwing on first down and getting 0 or negative yards.

then they had to abandon the run.

how do you go your first 6 plays of the 2nd half without a single run play when you have the best RB in the league? by getting behind the chains.

Yeah that was a bitch move. And his 3rd and 4 play call was terrible. He got out coached by Andy Reid

Two separate 3rd and 4s where he could be aggressive and put the team in a good position for 4th. Both times he fricked up

He is a great scheme coach but he is a colossal retard when it comes to critical in-game decision making. You really gonna just bend over and give mahomes another drive to win it? fricktard

How would that have closed it out? KC still would have gotten a possession to be able to tie the game!!
