Doesn't drug use as well?
/quote]

Yes but again take up that issue with the NFL. Start a new thread to bitch about Roger Goodell and the media being to soft on drug users. I agree with that. Ricky Williams gets shut out bc of weed but Isray can do what he did? Double standard like a motherfricker IMO

As for y the general public is more outraged? srays drug addiction while tragic and sad is an internal conflict that no one really took personal.

Racism on the other hand...well if you can't see why more people would be upset about judging others based on only on the color of their skin and take that more personally than a stranger wanting pain pills than you lack a basic understanding of the human condition.

Good lord! Wait, weren't you the one who argued Cam Cameron was a terrible hire for LSU? I see now. Carry on.

He was charged with driving under the influence which is criminal activity and dangerous. What if he killed a family?

Sterling is a scumbag, I think everyone will agree, but IDK how you can say what he did was worse than Irsay.

You better take a hard look in the mirror and where you work at bc I guarantee that whether it's sympathy, compassion, jealousy, revenge, anger etc etc that human emotions are most certainly a part of business.

Well I didn't make a judgment on which was worse did I? To be honest though the "what if" component of your judgment is stupid.

"What if" Sterling's racism against minorities caused him to ruin countless minority families only account of that prejudice?

Regardless I was speaking to how the general public would connect with each offense than which was worse

. More people can connect with being unfairly judged on a physical characteristic than with someone with a drug addiction causing them harm , which is why the outrage(to say nothing of the history of race relations in this country) of the public would be worse for Sterling than Irsay.

So a player who loses a loved one shouldn't be excused if they have a bad performance in a game after the loss of that loved one?

Yea, and they are still doing their job. Performance of said job can obviously be affected. They are people like everyone else, believe it or not

It was brought up because some idiot thinks it shouldnt be in the mind of the players and affecting their play on the court, like they are supposed to be robots

As you did for your cancer? How far did you actually make it through school because your comprehension skills are child like?

Nowhere did I say that the two are a like in the grand scheme of life. There are similarities in terms of the players having to deal with this distraction everywhere they turn. It's so easy to determine how someone else should think or feel without having to deal with their situation first hand.

I know it has to be tough for you to actually look at this situation from different angles or any situation for that matter.

Nobody said losing a loved one is the exact same thing as racism from your owner. It was brought up because some folks mistakenly believe that nothing off the court should ever affect the play of a professional sportsman just because they're being paid a lot of money. That line of thought is disingenuous at best, and heartless at worst.

I don't see how you can say you wouldn't care. What if players start refusing to play for his team? Now you have a big problem

I don't know what he can do. He ought to suspend himself for a year.

I don't understand the whole thing anyway. What's his wife doing dating other dudes in the first place?
