No losses, let's just finish it in NY. No reason to need to use JV again at all

Would be great, but we might need that extra home game revenue to pay for Amy Cole's marketing agreement.

How about Greinke earn a postseason check? He’s been very average in his two starts.

To be fair, the two games he’s started, they’ve score 3 runs total.

Not saying he’s been mediocre, but with offensive output like that, no one is winning anything.

Dude had a QS in game 1 against the Yankees' lineup. I'd take that in game 5 in a heartbeat.

It was the worst possible QS, but still.

I mean, he's given up 5 homers in two games. That's the issue. Sure would be nice if his expensive arse could stop doing that.

Sooooo glad we made him untouchable and kept him. No way we could have used him in a trade to make this team better.

Look, I'm not a big Greinke fan, but he's had very little support in those 2 games. The bats had better wake the hell up. Tomorrow is must have because They're asking a lot of Urquidy to go into Yankee Stadium and not lay an egg.

At first I thought it was social anxiety, but he makes sarcastic remarks in between the socially awkward responses he gives that resemble no anxiety, so I don’t think you can give him that label.

I really think he is just a complete dick and is only doing this for the money, which goes against everything the Astros Clubhouse represents.

I kinda wish he was a rental, but I think we’re stuck with this guy for another 2 or 3 years, and we’re paying him what we should be paying Gerrit Cole the next three years.

Rockies pitcher calls Zack Greinke a ‘turd’ for autograph snub in online forum

Greinke told The Star’s Sam Mellinger in 2011: “People have been talking to me more, and I don’t like that. Everyone seems to be noticing me, looking at me and stuff. I don’t like that.”

Greinke has a reputation for being aloof at times with teammates. So perhaps it is no surprise that Greinke has rubbed a fellow major-leaguer the wrong way. Rockies pitcher Pat Neshek wrote a blistering post on the message board at SportsCollectors.net on Tuesday about being snubbed in an attempt to get Greinke’s autograph.

Neshek was with the Phillies before being traded to Colorado earlier this year, and he was Philadelphia’s All-Star Game representative. Greinke, who is with the Diamondbacks, was in Miami, too. The Midsummer Classic seemed like the perfect time to get Greinke’s autograph. Neshek even discussed his plan with ESPN, and it involved Neshek’s son.

But it seems that things didn’t work out, and Neshek was furious.

Here is what that says:

Thanks guys. Greinke stiffed me once again. I asked him at the all star game if he would sign for me and he said he would…so a couple weeks ago we played them and I sent over the cards I needed signed… basically 3 league leaders cards with kershaw and wainwright already done and 2 from 2015 to complete the set. He said no…I waited around for him during batting practice and went up to him and he totally denied having the conversation at the all star game… I then asked why this was a problem and he said it’s because “I wear him out.” Hard to wear someone out when he has never signed for me. This is the only ahole in major league baseball that has been a turd to me. So going back to the conversation I said can you just get these done it will take 5 seconds…just draw a little z on them for me…He said no I will never sign for you… I walked away…a couple minutes later I confronted him in the outfield while he was jogging and told him what I thought of him…he just kept on running then said I wouldn’t even sign for your kid if he asked….I wanted to laugh knowing he had probably thought of that line for a long time and that was the best he could come up with…I then let him know what I thought of him again and being the socially awkward guy he is ran back to the dugout and went inside. Soooo I’m done with this guy. I’m basically gonna have to trade with someone on here to 50/50 them down the road.

Pat Neshek seems like a bitch. No wonder Greinke snubbed him.

Who cares what he does or doesn't do. The guy's not an axe murderer. So what if he's aloof. That sounds a lot like petty jealousy from a guy who's not as talented and doesn't have Greinke's bank account.
