I bet some of the guys on here bitching about Aronimink were thrilled to watch Wyndham Clark shoot 30 under this week instead of a course where skilled players couldn't separate from the pack because there weren't enough scoring opportunities due to unfairly hard pin placements

Also pretty funny they spent $25 million to make the course tougher this year and still ended up with the same results

a. frick Wyndham Clark.

b. The weather was not on the courses side, but yeah they made TPC Craig Ranch their bitch all week.

c. I can appreciate both the insane toughness of those major courses when they’re playing hard, and how good these guys are when you put them on soft courses with no wind.

Those Texas courses are defenseless when soft and no wind

imagine starting Sunday with the lead, shooting a 65, and losing by 3 strokes

That course sucks. Move it back to Las Colinas.

When the Byron was in Las Colinas, it was THE event for milf watching and hooking up. Ahhh, the good ole days.

They would destroy that course now, even more so than back then but such a better venue and event.

When at Los Colinas, the Byron Nelson was in the middle of young DFW adults' playground. When Mr. Nelson was alive, ALL the top players came to his tournament out of respect. Once he died in 2006, the tournament fell off the top players' must-play list. The PGA major moving from August to May has also hurt the Nelson's field.

TPC Craig Ranch is a fine course. The players had perfect conditions this week: lift, clean and place for three rounds, soft fairways/greens, moderate temperatures and little wind. Without all these favorable conditions, the winning score would be in the low/mid 20s. Let's see what happens in 2027 before judging the course changes too quickly.

That said, they could grow the rough a little longer and plan some tougher pin placements on Thursday/Friday next year so nobody goes into the weekend 19 under!
