Is the only way to watch this paying 15 bucks for a pokergo subscription?
I used to love the early 2000 WSOP and have recently gotten into playing a bit and lighting money on fire.

Especially in that position with everyone in front of you folding.

Yeah it’s on Poker Go. A few of the streams have been on YouTube.

This seems like an unnecessary shot at Dan Harrington

Three people were all in while on the bubble. All 3 busted so they chopped the payout for 1507th and 1506th which was 15k each or 30k total. So they got their 10 k buy in back. Then they flipped for a 2024 main event seat. So one guy got his 10k back and next year’s seat(another 10k) for a total of 20k. The next 244 players that busted after the bubble only got 15k payout. And the next 244 players that bust after that int get 17k. So ironically that guy came out ahead.

Moneymaker with 1.5 mil. Would be crazy if he makes the final.

I was playing at the aria several years ago. I was really nervous being in the room in the environment...rather than on the internet or with friends..it wasn't a tournament or anything just a cash game. got pocket 8s...hit a third 8 on the flop...checked to the end (mistake) big pot, 9 came out....I go all in....guy beside me calls with pocket 9s. haven't slept since

Without watching any of the old pros that has a personality or image, it’s just a drag to watch. Some dolt at the table that doesn’t react or speak.
Hellmuth was dead on before the boom, as in the establishment of character players and the need to take advantage of the poker wave. Other players thought he was probably over zealous at the time.

If you want personalities and general insanity, watch the Hustler Casino Live stream

I’ll pass SFP, probably a bunch of idiots acting like their true self.

The atmosphere is missing too. Gone are the days of the rock concert atmosphere. One of my favorite final table hands was this. YouTube link of Michael Mizrachi versus Matt Jarvis.
LINK
The back and forth up and down of emotions made it fun to watch. Now a guy hits a one outer in a 50 million chip pot and it’s crickets.

Does Norman Chad still do the commentary? If not, then he would be sorely missed as well. He was perfect for that role.

I wish i didn't have to pay $15 a month to watch it but i may pay to watch the final table. I miss watching poker for hours on end. simpler times.
