Personally, I think calling yourselves "Louisiana's Ragins Cajuns" is pretty dumb. At the very least because there is a very narrowly defined area of the state that can even be considered Cajun. When you take a name representing the whole state, you encompass areas like Monroe, Shreveport, and Baton Rouge, which are hardly Cajun.
South Louisiana's Ragin Cajuns would be more accurate.

It's light years better than your logic. According to your logic LSU shouldn't have been able to say they could beat Kentucky from 07-11.

But, if I was ULL's AD, I wouldn't schedule McNeese either. The middle to lower tier FBS schools have no business scheduling the top level FCS schools. There is just not much to gain and a whole lot to lose...
