How on earth would they get CP3, PG13 and LBJ without giving up any of Kuzma, Ingram, or Lonzo??

No unless Ingram makes a huge leap. Lopez is unplayable against the GS small lineups so you would need Lebron to basically be a small ball center with CP3 PG Ingram and Kuzma. Ingram has a lot of development left and Kuzma is a black hole defensively.

They are all free agents.

Pretty sure they have to renounce Lopez's rights to make room for Lebron and PG13. Don't know how they'd get CP3.

Yea, they would be able to play brolo at C when Javale is in the game and when they have green at C, put lebron at C.

Lakers have room for two max contracts.

If they trade Deng and Kuzma they can sign three max contracts.

I would rather

PG : Ball
SG : Ingram
SF : George
PF: James
C: Cousins

You habe 3 (4 with So as a decent defender) very good wing defenders but that front court would be torched. But that lineup would be able to outscore everyone not named Bos and GSW

The only way they could pull that off is if they sign Lebron and Paul with cap space then have George opt in with OKC for a trade. They would definitely have to give something up for OKC to be interested in that tho

His achilles scares the frick out of me. Has any big man ever suffered an injury like that and been remotely as effective afterwards?

People say this so casually. Three max contracts for Lebron, CP, and PG is 100 million, which is the entire salary cap.

This is why everyone gets run out by GSW in the first place. Too many try to "match up" with them. Teams have to do what they do best, not try to do what GSW does best.

Boston? Their offense should be much better next season, if development of their young players continues to progress, and fully healthy Kyrie and Hayward. But they were 18th in net adjusted offensive rating last season (108.14) with 6 teams has an offensive rating at least 5 points higher. Defense is where they excelled (2nd at 104.75), which seems to be a common aspect since he’s begun coaching.

I like the idea of Ingram and Randle alongside LeBron, CP3 and PG more. Lopez is gonna get torched vs a small GS lineup. Kuzma isn't a great defender.

You can hide Randle on Draymond, let LeBron conserve energy on Iggy and check one of their stars in crunch time.

I doubt the CP3 thing could happen, though. I like Lonzo more than most and think he can handle starting at PG alongside the other 4. That presumes LeBron, though. That team is more competitive than Cleveland vs GS.

No.

Not if Lebron is on the team. He needs more help then that.
