Even Soto runs circles around this guy

Idk, its close. Baldelli had only 2 good years, and couldn't even stay in the league after 31. At least Soto is actually on a roster and should be in the league at least another 4 years.

ETA: I'd probably give the nod to Soto, but again, at least he's playing.

Rocco had some crazy disease that killed his career.

He had 3 solid years, and then did absolutely nothing.

Anyways...

After a promising beginning to his baseball career, a mysterious metabolic/muscular disorder would lead to numerous injuries and force Baldelli to retire as a player at age 29.

Hideo Nomo...

How can you play "Major League" ball in Japan, and then come over to the US and still be a "rookie" when you are like 30 years old.

Neftali Feliz.

Has steadily worsened each year since his ROY campaign, and the experiment to make him a starter put him on long-term DL.

Ben Greive sure didn't amount to much. I remember going to watch him play at Martin when I was a little kid

You are aware that Jackie Robinson played 1 season of Negro League baseball before being signed to the Brooklyn Dodgers organization right?

Hideo Nomo was playing in 1990 over in Japan as a Japan Pro before coming to the US in '95 as a "rookie".
