True. But not possible where I work. I am so tempted to call in sick.

I am a baseball purist but would support MLB sticking with the 'runner on second in extras' rule. Modern baseball is painfully boring in extra innings.

I work at a manufacturing plant. We could lose our job if we get caught using our phone while the line is running.

*5-1

This late inning explosion is reminding me of another playoff game in Wrigley against the marlins in 2003, when they scored a bunch late.

Astros gonna shut them up
It's a misleading record when they had to play so many west coast games coming all the way from Houston.

Doing it with a young pitching staff as well.
If offense wakes up a little, watch out!

That Cubs offense, with the 4th worst batting average in the majors, is not inspiring confidence they will be able to rally in the bottom of the 9th.

This team somehow won the effing division with a .221 team batting average. 3 hits today through 8, though, which is impressive for us

First round playoff Cardinals bitches.

No matter how much arse they are in the regular season, their wet bag offense will have a game or two where they put up a first inning crooked number.

Welcome back to the playoffs, Padres.

Starling Marte broke his hand on that 9th inning HBP today. I would expect Bryant, Baez, or Rizzo to wear one tomorrow.
