Well. Let’s be honest. Cardinals didn’t deserve to be in the playoffs anyway.

This now shitty franchise needs a lot of rearranging. But Mo will never be fired.

If MLB had any sense, they'd have the Padres on national TV constantly next year. Tatis should be the face of the league. Mike Trout is the best player but he has the personality of a Sperry topsider.

Well if that is Yadi's last AB as a Cardinal (it won't be) see you at the Hall my friend.

I have absolutely nothing to base this on but I have thought for a few years now that Yadi will be the Cardinals manager within 3 years of retirement.

There has been a lot of mumbling about that, I don't think any Cards fan would be opposed to it.

Who gives a shite about personality? He's so good and fun to watch that he should be on TV as much as possible just so fans can see arguably the best player ever as much as possible.

Most of America cares about personality. Mike Trout is amazing and fun to watch for baseball fans but his team sucks and he does nothing for the casuals.

3 straight backwards Ks when facing elimination. What a bunch of losers.

Eh, it’s more to do with him being on a shitty team/franchise
Aaron Judge has no personality and he’s all over the place, it’s because he plays for a winning franchise
If Trout played for the dodgers he’d be all over the place, the Angels are dog shite

Trout has fun and enjoys the game. That is obvious every time he is on the field. If you're looking for a Tim Anderson type loudmouth shite talker, then Trout isn't your guy.

Congrats to the Padres, hell of an outing by all those pitchers

OP now updated with matchups and schedule for next round. Assuming game times will be announced in the next day or so (AL game 1’s on Monday have already been announced)

Who wins the NL Central next year? I guess Cubs but that offense has to have Bryant and Baez bounce back. It looks like the worst division in baseball next year.

Sad news. Gibson died today. He was one of the fiercest competitors ever. RIP Hoot.
