That's true...I was nervous until the Rizzo HR.

There would be no home field advantage if this game were at Wrigley. The crowd has energy but it's nervous energy. It's the type of energy that is suffocating.

Cubs are better off psychologically being on the road with the bonus of Schwarber's bat in the lineup

We'll have to Wait Til Next Year to celebrate one at home.

Exactly, again I think the Cubs feel less pressure playing on the road. The anxiety of the Cub fans is palpable and I think at times weighs on the team.

During Game 4 at Wrigley, when the Cubs went up, it was like a rocket ship taking off, then when the Indians came back and went up, it was the Challenger explosion. It was unbelievable how quickly it turned and there was literally no hope. The crowd was so defeated, there just seemed to be no hope.
Game 5 was much better because our backs were up against the wall. Crowd was much more positive I thought.

There's a reason that the Cubs have only completed two series at Wrigley Field EVER.

No such thing as home field advantage in baseball. It is all about the next day's starters.

This, and I have Kleuber anxiety. The Cubs just don't know how to deal with him. I think Hendricks does well enough to get through 6 or 7, but it's not going to matter when he has 0 support runs.

Well I'm about to be wheels up to Cleveland. I'll try and post some updates shortly. Anyone give me some good places around Jacobs Field/Progressive to drink and eat?

Any word on where Joe West will be? Hopefully down the line in the outfield.

He's been on both baselines in the infield I believe and RF line and HP, so I'm thinking LF line tonight.

I'm peanut butter and jealous...... enjoy yourself and throw a few cold ones back for the ones that can't be there

As for clevland I have no clue nor do I want to know what's fun to do around Jacobs and the rest of the town

I love drama as much as the next guy, but I will be highly bummed if the World Series comes down to he umpires looking at a replay. It would be great if the last play was close, but not close enough to have players waiting until the replay is over to celebrate.

Can you imagine if somebody gets fricked on a base clearly stolen, but the guy gets called out for being off the bag a millisecond between the time his foot hits and he gets his hand down/vice-versa?

Meh, I don't really consider that getting fricked. If you come off the base you come off the base. If the tag is held and they come off the bag they deserve to be out. Certainly would much rather have replay and have the umpires get a call like the Lindor groundball correct like they did last night.

Certainly don't want anything controversial like that Adrian Gonzalez play, but if it allows them to reverse a blatant incorrect call like last night, all for it.

This is going to be the longest day of my life. Going to be completely useless at work all day. Watching hype videos of Harry and his "sure as God made green apples" moment.

Other than that Adrian Gonzalez play I think replays have gotten calls right. They have been fairly quick and that's about all you can ask for.

Love me some Danica, she doesn't have the best assets but couple her good looks with being a race car driver and you've got wifey material. Plus she's a cub fan
