Also wouldn't surprise me if Lester has been secretly practicing a pick off move and Joe will have him unveil it tomorrow.
We've been waiting for the Lester pick-off throw longer than the Hilary email kill shot. Better chance at seeing the hidden ball trick.

I'll take the hidden ball trick too!

Dude I so wish I could go. Had a great time at Wrigley and would love to be in the house for a possible clinch

Can't believe I did it but you only live once. Wish I was more confident in the Cubs tomorrow but I am going either way

Fox had no faith in the Cubs. Just went to the program guide to set my timer for tomorrow, and Lethal Weapon is scheduled for 7pm.

frick the all star game rules, Wrigley should be hosting game 7

Considering the Cubs have won more games this series in Cleveland, I figured you'd be happy staying in Cleveland for game 7.

The home team is 2-4 this series. Hopefully 2-5.

Exactly, again I think the Cubs feel less pressure playing on the road. The anxiety of the Cub fans is palpable and I think at times weighs on the team.

If I were there as a neutral fan for a theoretical game 7 at Wrigley, I don't think I could handle being around that much tension. You're one mistake away from being the next Steve Bartman.

quote:I can see that. Listening to The Score yesterday afternoon they talked about the team on the bus heading over. Said everyone was talking about football way more than they were about the game. Said everyone was laughing and joking except for Arrieta, he was headphones on, straight face, in the zone

At this point, Schwarber in the lineup is more important than home field advantage

Can we score 7 in first 3 innings again? My heart can't take another close game.

That's actually a really good point and a good way to look at it

Even when it was 7-2 and Cleveland nearly hit a 2 run HR, I jumped up like it was a walk off. Ill be tense no matter what

No such thing as home field advantage in baseball. It is all about the next day's starters.
