Nope

Record is 55 million viewers in the 80 WS

I don't think they get close to that tonight

Yeah. That will be tough to beat.. But IF all things were equal to what they were in 1980.. This game could come close......

Baseball just isn't what it used to be, and neither is TV

Too many options and not enough fans to compete with the past records

Well both teams looked good in warm ups and BP. Didn't see an edge with either. Some wind blowing from third to center field. Awesome night for baseball I can't believe I am here!

Rain is picking up here in Wrigleyville, but that's not stopping the masses from heading up here and filing into the bars. Chicago PD has a significant presence in the area at the moment, but nothing compared to this past weekend. Ready for the game

ETA: took this about 20 min ago

No. That was not bigger than this.

It was big, given the backdrop, but an expansion franchise in the WS was not bigger.

Mets/Red Sox in 80s was big. Dodgers Yanks in late 70s, Red Sox/Reds in 70s was big. None of them bigger than tonight though.

Big time Braves fan but I'll be rooting hard for the Cubs tonight. Hoping for a close game though. I'd love to see a tight pitcher's duel between Hendricks/Chapman and Kluber/Miller.
