Very possible, because Mexico can def beat Italy tomorrow, especially if Aaron Nola pitches like he did for Philly in 2025.

Roman Anthony is more Italian than most of Italy's team.

We can’t get a better manager than Mark DeRosa?

Well I was really hoping someone would get on base so Italy's new pitcher would have to pitch from the stretch when he came in but oh well...

Why is Paul Goldschmidt even playing? Especially against a RHP

I’ve been melting about USA bats all tournament and got told to stop melting. I think it might be time to melt.

Bats have been terrible. Two homeruns against Mexico was all of the runs. Couldn’t capitalize on a dozen walks from Brazil. Struggled early against GB

A lot would have to go wrong for the USA not to advance. They have the lead in run differential over Italy and have the head to head win over Mexico

In a 3 way tie none of that matters

You sure? I thought they said the run differential was only between the tied teams.

It’s not run differential, it’s runs given up per defensive out

Right now we are at 10 total runs
Mexico is 5
Italy is 0

Right now you’re probably out if Mexico wins
