It is not run differential, it is runs given up.
right now it is USA 17 Mexico 7 Italy 4
So basically Italy must win tomorrow for the USA to advance, or come back and win this game.
edit, I may be wrong on it may be based on vs the 3 way tiebreak teams.

We won gold in hockey so it would be fitting if we shite the bed in baseball and didn’t even advance. At least Canada still made it to the end in hockey.
