Stupid D12forcing his way out of ORL then leaving the team that dealt for him to team up with Harden....too bad it's a failed attempt at a superteam.

how would they have the cap room? who would they have to let go?

Barnes is a free agent after this year. They sign Durant instead.

We beat your arse two years ago.

Congrats on Harden's record setting turnover game in your loss to the Warriors.

Nothing that happened before last year matters in Rocketland (save for the Jordan asterisk titles in the 90s). And years of being above .500--the true mark of championship culture.

You know this.

this would be terrible for the league.

Maybe. They would be without Bogut. Maybe Festus Ezili is injured again.
Then they have nothing in the middle.

I just had to point out the teaming of Harden and D12 resulting in no Finals/WCF titles or anything else relevant.

Have to let a lot more than that go to afford Durant.

Since the turn of the century

Clutch City: 8 playoff appearances, 6 first round exits, and won 3 series, 2 coming from last year's run

Rip City: 8 playoff appearances, 7 first round exits, and won 1 series.

looks like the same stratosphere to me.

seriously? 30 years?

Well laker fans, please step forward. Boom states that your rings from yesteryear and from decades ago trumps his clutch city rockets.

ETA: regardless of how bad you guys are right now.

He wants you to go back to the mid 90s. But stop there. Don't go to the 70s.

Boom knows which time frames to consider when we're discussing stratospheres.

I could pick some silly time frame like you and make the pels look like they are on the same level as Clutch city. When clearly they aren't. in other words your little numbers games aren't helping your case.

I could guarantee you New Orleans' basketball history is piss poor. Nobody is arguing that genius.
