This board loves to incessantly bitch about topics it thinks are irrelevant and failing. Just absolutely consumed by negativity.

Why do we have to constantly compare men v women? The reason the WNBA exists to begin with is so that they won't have to compete against men. They compete against themselves. Would a girls high school team beat a WNBA team? No they would not. But that's who they should be compared to. Would a boys high school team beat an Nba team? No they wouldn't.

Compare men against men, and women against women.

Tell those WNBA chicks to stop comparing what they make to what men make.

Who are these nerds?!? Are you watching games at a lesbian bar?

I don’t know a single female friend that has any belief that women can compete with men

Serena got backlash from women for telling it like it is.

Serena used to be a hell of a lot cockier than that until the #203 ranked men's player in the world smoked her and Venus in straight sets with a hangover. She stopped talking about beating men after that.

Is that so different than men jumping around from team to team, playing for the highest bidder?

Everybody wants to make more money. It’s the American way.

I believe it goes deeper than just comparing salaries.

It's cool that Clark is decent while she's playing against girls with the smaller WNBA ball, but if she was playing against men she wouldn't even get a shot off.

I agree with the sentiment of your post, but this is actually factually false. She practiced (as most women NCAA players do) against men all the time. The college teams actually used college men to scrimmage against them. I wouldn't expect her team to win against boys HS or men's college teams; but to pretend that she would be completely shut down is laughable.

They don't need to be saying they deserve to be paid as much as men get.

How does what they say effect your daily life? I mean, why does that bother you?

Because it's stupid, but some people give it credence.

Because there's a lot of posters still think it's 1955 and the concept of women sports triggers them unless of course it's attractive women playing then that's fine. If people want to actually discuss women's sports then obviously this is the board for it. But for every legitimate poster talking the WNBA or such you get about 5 more posters wanting to trash the sports or talk about how much they don't care

love the white knighting

It was a scheme.

They set it up by Riggs easily whipping Margaret Court (6-2, 6-1) a few months earlier to drive the betting line.

This is back when people thought exhibition sports was real and all sports were on the up and up.

A society steered by irrationality shouldn't be quietly ignored.... Especially WNBA charity welfare queens arguing for millions for a product that has spent 30 years with two feet in the grave.

Is that the term you use when you don't have any actual argument? If you don't like women's sports then just shut up and let people who actually don't mind it discuss them instead idiots like you have virtue signal to other idiots about how alpha and badass they that they don't watch no women do sports.
