Will we ever see artificial grass on golf courses. Greens, tee box or the whole course. Seems like something the Chinese or Dubai would try.

I think you might see tee boxes at some point.
But other than that, it seems like it would be too expensive or not plausible.
Greens just wouldn't be the same with artificial turf. Balls wouldn't react the same. I'm not sure how you could create something realistic enough to be possible.
Fairways, rough, or whole course would just be expensive. The amount of money it would take to fill 100+ acres of golf course with a weather resistant, realistic artificial grass would be out of this world.
Might happen eventually, but not in our lifetimes IMO.

Good morning. My new golf mat came in yesterday and it is the shite. It's definitely nothing like those green rubber mats you would find at Shitty Park or a roadside driving range. This one is much more conducive to smash

Apparently my wife's cousins married some rich people. We played at the shitty course in Crowley the day after thanksgiving and one of them wants me to go visit in London and make a day trip to play the Old Course at St Andrews. He said it like it was no big deal. He also runs a $1.4 billion hedge fund. I was a little out of my league
