With CFB starting a week from today, what's the best advice for betting on this sport?

Going to start betting on CFB this year part time, not every game I'll bet on but maybe 2-5 games a week.

I'll start: For me. Bet on good teams coming off bad losses and bet against bad teams coming off big wins. College kids are emotional roller coasters

What you just said and betting on the home underdog (slightly) of Thursday night games have always been great for me.

Don’t fall for the transitive property trap

Team A beat Team B by 21
Team B best team C by 14

So team A is going to blow out team C? Nope, doesn’t always work that way.

It's not half as ridiculous as betting on NFL or CBB IMO.

College and pro football lines are the sharpest you'll find in sports. You're going to need to realize you're basically getting no value and are just betting because you want some action on the game you're watching.

With that said, for college, don't bet the "big games" of the weekend. Your Wyoming-San Jose State type of games will have looser lines than Alabama-LSU.

Hookers and blow are the safer bet. At least you'll have the memories.

Hedge your bets if possible. If you have a parlay that's one game away from hitting, put a second bet on the opposite outcome you need for the parlay so you win no matter what for example.

Do huge parlays on heavy favorites. Do as many as it takes to get plus odds. Then site back and rake in the cash.

First is making sure you take Clemson over LSU. Brian Kelly has never won an impact week 1 game and it’s free money.
