Gotta respect the Falcons for trying to be aggressive there. I've seen too many games where coaches go conservative outside the 20, line up for the potential game winning field goal, and miss it.

Nope. You were up 8, and time was on your side. The FG seals it. I could see it if you are behind or tied, but not in that situation. Run it and kick. Make them use timeouts and take your chances in the FG.

Agree. People bitch going conservative when you are up one score and not in position to go up 2. Like when you are on your own 20. They had total control and gave it away.... frick!

Brady made them do it apparently, judging by all the people that are impressed by him pulling off the best comeback of all time

If you think about it, it makes sense though. The falcons always rate Matt Ryan wayyyy higher than he deserves to be ranked. Apparent the coaches buy into the same hype, because they trusted him enough to blow the game back to back possessions when doing anything else wouldve been game over. I know that Sean Payton trusts Brees, but theres no way we run a 5 step drop play on 3rd and 1 with a 16 point lead in the superbowl with 8 minutes left in the game

Fell asleep listening to the game. Atlanta up 25. Wake up to see the game went to OT & NE won. I'm shocked.

I was literally thinking "just kneel on it".

Then, the play happened. I just laughed

Don't agree with the 2nd down pass......but if you're the reigning MVP......you do not take that sack.

Brady made them pass judging by this board. great defensive effort by brady to completely shut down the falcons during the second half so that he had a chance to win it in OT

if the same thing happened in a Les Miles coached LSU game it would be the worst coaching choke of all time, but because its Brady the Falcons get a free pass

Falcons staff underestimated Brady. Only possible explanation.

Hire Les Miles. He will fix that problem right from the start

After the sack, he made a play on 3rd down to get back in FG range but the play was nullified b/c of a holding call.

because i dont think 1 of the 30 guys that won the game for the patriots yesterday is gods gift to earth? i guess giving credit to the other 29 guys is bullshite, brady couldve easily won the superbowl last night if he was playing for the Rams or Jaguars
