Romo is a really REALLY good quarterback.

No he's not. Good, maybe. But not "really REALLY" good. And his 2-minute offense may be the worst in the NFL.

arguably less than 12 months ago, and he still isn't old

'm talking about Romo getting recognized as a great Qb in his own right

he's not on the same level as Rodgers, Brady, Manning, and Brees.

And in his short career hasn't had much stability. He has had 3 different head coaches and several different role players surrounding him.

nothing to do with inconsistent QB play

I just think he doesn't get the credit he deserves.

i think he gets way too much hate for his play. He's better than Big Ben and probably near Eli

So in his 12th season you think Brees can top his "greatest season ever"? I disagree and that was my point

You mean his no-huddle offense that scored 2 tds last week to tie the game in 4 minutes?

he topped his play in 2009 with his play in 2012. I see no reason why he can't do it again

see tom brady, peyton manning, brett favre, etc

What seperates Brady, Manning, Rodgers and Brees? They have all had the same coach their entire career.

Except Brees had a different coach at San Diego where the Chargers thought they would be better off with Philip Rivers. A mistake on their part but helps prove my point that not much seperates them from Romo except havingthe "right" situation and consistency in their coaching

And I'd say he's significantly better than Eli. Eli had 2 awesome postseasons with a defense that gave up an average of 15 points and never gave up more than 20 points in any game in those 2 postseasons

To the tard who said Brees was on the downhill side of his career and Romo is only in his 6th season:

Romo is 32
Brees is 33

well that is false, Manning and Brees haven't. Rodgers started under a different coach too

the offered him a contract, but he was coming off what was supposed to be a CAREER ENDING INJURY, so it doesn't prove your point at all

and the only reason they made the playoffs last season was eli's play, especially in the 4th quarter. Romo has a chance to do that this season
