Not sure why it deleted my post. Sorry about that.

Also in no way is this meant to be a lobbying thread more a topic that’s always fascinated me.

Questions are.

How do you balance what initially appears to be a big win with the end of season perception when that disappointing team obviously has a much different mindset/goals early in the season? Is it strictly final record or do you take the early season goals/ranking/atmosphere into account to some degree? If so how much and what are the important factors regarding that?

How much can that initial failure to achieve goals impact a teams performance in subsequent games in your opinion? Obviously all teams are different.

Michigan's 3 point OT win over army at home. I really thought Army had a great team.

Any team that played and thought Texas or Texas A&M was a quality win

Minnesota is also apparently a good win too, a team that had to fight off the Georgia Southern triple option Juggarnaut.

If Michigan state is described as a "quality win" it makes texas a "really quality win"

Other teams that have dropped completely off the face of the earth that were either ranked or getting votes:
- UCF
- Syracuse
- Nebraska
- Washington State
- Missouri
- Northwestern
- Miami

I know people give A&M shite, but goddamn, that schedule was ridiculous. They played pretty tough in most of their losses until last weekend.
